I have a 260 built by David Van Horn (http://www.dvhcustomguns.com/). It has his barrel in a 1-8 twist. 24". Timney trigger and safety. It was built on an Interarms Mark X Mauser action that he worked over. Hogue stock. 8 lbs bare. Exactly 50 rounds through it. 20 by the original owner and 30 by me. The original owner said the 3 shot groups were touching. I fired 30 to chronograph 3 different loads and to further break in the barrel by cleaning after every 3 rounds. It was grouping around 1”. I stopped working on loads because my son got another 6.5. Full disclosure: the scope mount holes were not drilled perfectly square from the Interarms factory. You can use 2 piece mounts. I have a rail on it currently. You will need the Burris rings that allow offset for the rail. I have those in 30 mm and will sell them at half price ($50) if you buy the rifle. Or, you could have them re-tapped. Otherwise, it is excellent. l would sell it for the price of a production rifle ($575). Go to the website and price out these options. This rifle would be over $1000.
I also have 70 Federal Premium 120 gr. Nosler BT, 16 Nosler Trophy Grade 120 AB, 4 ELD Match in factory boxes. Also, 28 once-fired brass. That is $130 worth of ammo. I will sell with the rifle for 1/2 price ($65)
Rifle = $575 or interesting trade
Ammo = $65 with rifle only
Burris Rings = $50 with rifle only
