Winchester 63 .22lr Super Speed Super X rifle loads in butt stock 1954Texas
This Winchester model 63 .22lr is stamped "Super Speed and Super X" on the 23" barrel. According to the Winchester serial number lookup it was made in 1954. And I never like to rate firearms, because it is extremely subjective: however the wood is awesome, bore is very very good. I have not fired this firearm, though I suspect that this one spent most of it's life as a safe queen. See pictures for your decision. This style was one of the first semi auto styles and amazing loads thru the side of the butt stock. (NOT thru the receiver as most other firearms do.) These are highly sought after and Very VERY collectible.
